About this appointment
A third-trimester scan focused on your baby's growth and wellbeing, with a further check for late-appearing anomalies where the baby's position allows. It reviews the heart, brain, fluid, placenta and blood flow, and includes 3D/4D imaging when technically feasible. Reassurance after the NHS 20-week scan, your last routine scan for many. Typically performed at 30-35 weeks.
