We believe in transparent pricing of our services, that is why our obstetric package includes all scans, NIPT blood tests, obstetric follow ups and essential blood tests.

Please note, the Portland Hospital and UCLH will have their own separate hospital fees for delivering your baby in their premises. Please get in touch to find out more about the costs.

Our consultant will be available 24/7 throughout your pregnancy to answer your questions over the phone. In the event of a medical emergency, the venue you’ve chosen for delivery will provide a midwife contact to guide you on the recommended steps if the obstetrician is unavailable.

Where you should deliver — The Portland or UCLH — is a personal choice, and both are well-regarded London options with different settings, facilities and fee structures. Your consultant obstetrician will talk through the practical differences with you during your consultations and help you weigh up which venue best fits your preferences, your medical history and any specific needs your pregnancy may have.

Whichever you choose, please note that the hospital charges its own separate delivery fees on top of our obstetric package. Your obstetrician can offer information and guidance, but the final decision on where to give birth is always yours to make with them.

While Ms Diane Nzelu will provide obstetric consultations and all pregnancy scans, you have the option to have your 10-week scan performed by Dr Fred Ushakov. This package is designed to ensure you benefit from the expertise of each specialist.

Every pregnancy is different, and as such we tailor each package according to the recommended schedule for each patient. This is a sample schedule of what your appointments may look like when you start your obstetric package with us from 6-9 weeks:

Yes, it is possible to join our obstetric package at a later stage of your pregnancy — you do not have to start in the first trimester to benefit from consultant-led care. Because we tailor each package to where you are in your journey, your schedule of scans and obstetrician appointments is simply adjusted to suit the weeks you have remaining rather than a fixed programme from the outset.
