Dr Maria Cecilia Denk is a highly skilled radiologist with a deep commitment to women’s health, specialising in both obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound. Her areas of expertise include early pregnancy screening, detailed fetal anomaly scans, fetal heart assessments, monitoring of fetal growth, and complex twin pregnancy evaluations.
Dr Denk also brings extensive experience in advanced gynaecological ultrasound, including the assessment of endometriosis, uterine anomalies, pelvic pain, follicular tracking, and adolescent gynaecology.
Originally from Argentina, Dr Denk graduated from the Universidad Nacional del Nordeste in 2013 before undertaking her radiology training at the renowned Rossi Centre in Buenos Aires. She further specialised at the University of Buenos Aires from 2014 to 2018, focusing on imaging for women’s health.
In 2019, Dr Denk moved to London to pursue advanced training, completing a two-year fellowship in obstetric ultrasound and fetal medicine at the prestigious University College London Hospital (UCLH). She continues to work within the Obstetric Ultrasound and Gynaecology departments at UCLH, where she applies her clinical expertise and compassionate approach to support women at every stage of their reproductive journey.
Dr Denk is known for her patient-centred care and dedication to providing accurate, reassuring, and high-quality imaging helping expectant mothers feel informed and supported.
