About this appointment
A detailed mid-pregnancy ultrasound that examines your baby's anatomy from top to toe, with particular attention to the brain and heart. It complements your NHS anomaly scan with a more extensive checklist. Suitable for anyone wanting a thorough second-trimester review. Usually performed at 20-25 weeks; 21-22 weeks preferred.
