Book your Online Fit to Fly (video)

• Your pregnancy must be uncomplicated. If anything on the eligibility check applies to you, book the in-person appointment instead — it costs the same.
• Send your pregnancy and travel documents at least 4 hours before the appointment, so the GP has time to read them.
• You need a device with a working camera and microphone, and somewhere private to take the call.
• Check your airline’s own policy first — the certificate must meet their requirements, and some airlines set their own cut-off dates.

A 20-minute online video appointment with a GP, assessing whether it is safe for you to fly and issuing your Fit to Fly certificate. Airlines commonly ask for one beyond 24 weeks, and the certificate confirms your expected due date and that there is nothing in your pregnancy that prevents air travel. Recommended before flying, particularly beyond 24 weeks. Online is suitable only where the pregnancy is uncomplicated.

A £30 surcharge applies to appointments in the evening, at weekends or on bank holidays. You’ll see the exact price before you pay.

This appointment takes place by video — there is no need to travel to a clinic. You will get a link to join. Our booking hours are below.

• The fee pays for the clinical assessment, not for a particular outcome. If the GP concludes it would not be safe to certify you as fit to fly, the fee is not refunded.
• If the GP decides during the appointment that you need to be seen in person, the fee is credited against the in-person appointment.
• Free cancellation or rescheduling up to 24 hours before your appointment, in writing to info@londonpregnancy.com.
• Cancelling later than 24 hours but at least 3 hours before costs £50; the rest of your payment is refunded.
• Not attending, cancelling with under 3 hours’ notice, or joining more than 20 minutes late counts as a no-show and is charged at the amount you paid — £60.
• Your card is not stored. This is a full payment at booking, not a deposit.
