About this appointment
A glucose tolerance test (GTT) to check how well your body manages blood sugar during pregnancy and screen for gestational diabetes. It involves a fasting blood sample, a glucose drink, and further samples to see how your levels respond. Usually between 24 and 28 weeks, or earlier if you are higher-risk.
