Ms Salma Jabak

Ms Salma Jabak is a Consultant in Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics at the Medway Fetal and Maternal Medicine Centre, with extensive experience in managing high-risk pregnancies and complex fetal conditions. She completed her specialist training in Fetal Medicine at the Harris Birthright Research Centre for Fetal Medicine within King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, where she gained advanced expertise in fetal diagnosis and invasive testing.

Ms Salma Jabak is a Consultant in Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics at the Medway Fetal and Maternal Medicine Centre, with extensive experience in managing high-risk pregnancies and complex fetal conditions. She completed her specialist training in Fetal Medicine at the Harris Birthright Research Centre for Fetal Medicine within King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, where she gained advanced expertise in fetal diagnosis and invasive testing.

She previously served as Maternal Medicine Lead, Fetal Medicine Lead, and Fetal Monitoring Lead at the Princess Royal University Hospital. Her clinical practice includes the care of women with complex obstetric and medical conditions in pregnancy, as well as the diagnosis and management of fetal anomalies, fetal growth restriction, and twin pregnancies. She is highly experienced in advanced obstetric ultrasound, invasive fetal procedures including amniocentesis and CVS, and specialist antenatal care.

Ms Jabak completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the American University of Beirut Medical Center and is on the specialist register in the UK. She has contributed to numerous academic publications and research projects in fetal and maternal medicine. Alongside her clinical work, she is actively involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate trainees, clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement projects.

Her approach is centred on early detection, close follow-up, and personalised, evidence-based care, with a strong focus on optimising maternal wellbeing and pregnancy outcomes for every patient.
