Ms Shahrzad (Shaz) Khojasteh
Ms Shahrzad Khojasteh, also known as Shaz, is an Advanced Specialist Sonographer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology performing detailed and high-quality ultrasound scans in all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynaecology including fertility scans. Shaz’s passion in the medical field, let her complete a Master’s degree in Prenatal Genetics and Fetal Medicine at UCL in 2016.
Her interest in ultrasound and clinical practice pursued her towards the FMF 2 years training in Fetal Medicine Ultrasound at Kings College Hospital which was closely supervised by Professor Kypros Nicolaides in 2017. Shaz has built up her experience by working closely with Fetal Medicine Consultants during her fellowship at Kings College Hospital.

Training and qualifications
Shaz has also obtained special training in Fetal Echocardiography by Fetal Cardiologists from Evelina Children’s Hospital. Additionally, she has gained experience in Early Pregnancy and Gynaecological ultrasound scanning under Early Pregnancy Unit (EPU) and Gynaecology Department at Kings College Hospital supervised by lead Consultants in the field.
