Patient information

Everything you need to know before your visit to the London Pregnancy Clinic — what to bring, how to find our two London clinics, and what to expect on the day.

Before your appointment

Please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled appointment time so our team can check you in. For most pregnancy and gynaecology scans there is no special preparation needed — you do not need to fast or attend with a full bladder unless we have specifically advised you to when you booked.

If you have been asked to attend with a full bladder for an early-pregnancy or fertility scan, please drink around two glasses of water about an hour beforehand. If anything about your appointment is unclear, call us on 020 3687 2939 and we will be happy to help.

What to bring

To help our specialists give you the most accurate assessment, please bring your most recent scan report, your maternity (antenatal) notes — whether NHS or private — a list of any medications you are currently taking, and details of any pregnancy complications or relevant medical history.

You are very welcome to bring your partner or a family member with you to your appointment.
