London Pregnancy Clinic West
We are fetal health, obstetrics, Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT) and private pregnancy care specialists in West London. We are based in: Westminster Women’s Clinic, 10 Redcliffe Street, SW10 9DT — about 10 minutes’ walk from Earl’s Court and West Brompton stations.
Pregnancy scans from 6 weeks, NIPT with a scan from 10 weeks (Panorama from 9 weeks), and fertility and gynaecology scans. Open seven days a week.
Bringing Our Expertise to West London
At London Pregnancy Clinic West, we bring the fetal ultrasound expertise of our City clinic to expectant parents in Chelsea, Fulham, Kensington, Knightsbridge and the rest of West London. Our aim is the same at both sites: an unhurried appointment, a detailed scan and a clear explanation of what we see.
Our scans start from 6 weeks with the viability scan. From 10 weeks we offer NIPT together with a scan (Panorama from 9 weeks), followed by the early fetal scan from 12 weeks and scans right through to the end of pregnancy.
Led by Dr Fred Ushakov, an internationally recognised expert in fetal ultrasound and founder of the London School of Ultrasound, our West London clinic is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of prenatal care.
Our Chelsea clinic at Westminster Women’s Clinic
We opened LPC West in January 2025 as our second location, hosted within Westminster Women’s Clinic (WWC) at 10 Redcliffe Street. WWC is an independent women’s health clinic registered with the Care Quality Commission.
Miss Jess McMicking, founder of WWC and one of our consultant obstetricians, said when we opened: “Very much looking forward to having London Pregnancy Clinic and their exceptional team in our surrounds, and most importantly, their expertise for our patients and the wider West London community.”
London Pregnancy Clinic West – Services
At London Pregnancy Clinic West you can book the full pregnancy scan pathway from 6 weeks to term, advanced NIPT with a scan (including PrenatalSafe and the SMART Test), fetal medicine and obstetric consultations, and fertility and gynaecology scans such as follicle tracking, endometrial lining and pelvic scans, HyCoSy and saline sonohysterography. Ms Hua Zen Ling and Dr Cecilia Denk hold their own scan lists here.
A few appointments run only at LPC City in Spitalfields: face-to-face midwife appointments, the early fetal echocardiography scan, blood tests, gynaecology consultations and packages, and scans with Dr Fred Ushakov. Online midwife and obstetric consultations can be booked from anywhere.
Private scans sit alongside your NHS maternity care rather than replacing it. NHS hospitals in England offer at least two scans free — at 11 to 14 weeks and between 18 and 21 weeks — and everyone is offered free screening for Down’s, Edwards’ and Patau’s syndromes, with NIPT offered free if that screening shows a higher chance.
London Pregnancy Clinic West is cash-free, so please pay by card.
